Connecting to Google Drive
Connecting Lumio to a teacher’s Google Drive enables them to create, open, organize, and share lessons directly from their Google Drive. This simplifies workflows if the teacher, their school, or their district already uses Google because they can store and organize all their files in one place. In addition, they can easily access lessons in Google Drive directly from Google Classroom, and students can access lessons shared from these platforms. Watch the video below to learn how this works.
To learn more about using Lumio with Google, see the Lumio support page.
The school’stechnical specialist or administrator can connect Lumio to a teacher’s Google Drive, or a teacher can set this up themselves.
New lessons or changes to lessons that a teacher makes in Lumio are automatically synchronized to their Google Drive.
If they make changes to existing lessons in Google Drive, the change is not automatically reflected in Lumio. For example, if they delete a lesson in Google Drive, it is not removed from their Lumio My Library files.
